Shri Siddeshwara Cup Brings Wheelchair Cricket to a 5th Karnataka District

Organized by Belagavi Divyaang Sports Academy from October 26–27, 2024, in Ainapur, the Shri Siddeshwara Cup brought Karnataka's own Team A, B, and C together in a domestic showcase — new and emerging players sharing the field with senior players mentoring each squad.

Karnataka A, led by Ajit, took the championship title. Just as significant: with Belagavi hosting, it became the fifth district in Karnataka to host a wheelchair cricket tournament, following Bengaluru, Tumakuru, Shivamogga, and Mysuru — proof the sport keeps putting down roots in new places, not just growing where it's already established.
